Ok - I've played this before.

Drag the plane up to the top left hand corner as far in as you can, then move the mouse outside the game window carefully across the top and back down the left. Release the mouse sometime doing this, then just carefully move the pointer back into the right hand edge at your preferred level - perfect takeoff. I've closed the site now but it's something like that.
