Notes From A Small Island was delightful, as was the one about the foody treats of his childhood, the title of which escapes me. It's got a stick of rock on the cover.

Yes, I thought The Exorcist book was good. The film is fairly faithful, just a few minor tweaks - so you'll already know what happens, but worth a read I reckon.
Legion is the sequel, which was made into Exorcist III film.

Exorcist II film was just a crap cash-in
