Re: THE TV SHOW THREAD - *** NO SPOILERS ***
Sadly no dice. There are a few episodes of the right season on dailymotion, but not the one im after. It might just be stuck in the itv archives never to surface again.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.
Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

Was pretty good, you should be able to download seven seasons of The Shield. Well worth a watch

Started 'Is It Legal?', 90s sitcom. Anyone remember that? Kate Isitt is utter woof in it. She ended up in Coupling a few years later but I don't get involved.

Manifest is going to go the same way as so many before it.
Starts ok
Loses it's way
Goes off at pointless tangents
Gets cancelled with no ending.

Trivia. I was watching Doctor Who: The Time Meddler. From 1965 or thereabouts.
Which 'Carry On' film regular makes a guest appearance?
Very well done if you actually know the answer.

Well after a bit of googling (as I did not know pf the top of my head) as the name didn't jump out at me Peter Butterworth.
Did you see the future Blue Peter Star and BBC darts presenter in the cast as well.?

Thanks, Jock. Peter Butterworth, playing someone from the Doctor's race, of which next to nothing was known at that time. Revealed in a fantastic cliffhanger where they discover he has a tardis... what the twelve year-olds would call a game-changer.Jock Mccallum wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 2:24 pmWell after a bit of googling (as I did not know pf the top of my head) as the name didn't jump out at me Peter Butterworth.

And yes indeed, Peter Purves. He was an actor in the first place. What a career he had. From time travel to the BDO.
