I watched the whole lot about ten years ago. I'm due a rewatch. I feel like I'll appreciate it more this time. I also have some Doctor Who lined up.

Nice. Seeing as you have the DVDs, have you watched the special edition of Enlightenment? A feature length cut of the story with new effects etc. It's on Disc 2.

I do have the special edition and I'm sure I must have watched the enhanced one but I have no memory of it

I'm a bit choosy with the extra features but I'll certainly watch the cast interviews bits

They are trying to prove Americas 1st serial killer, hh holmes was also Jack the ripper
Its clearly not going to have any resolution but its interesting all the same

That 'recreation area' stuff was so tiresome with all the dancing etc. and they kept coming back to it.

The whole thing did nothing for me really but I'd say it was more 'meh' than spectacularly bad. What exactly makes you dislike it so much?
