I think I generally dislike detective drama. I don't have the mental capacity to meet a string of suspects and motives and keep all that in my head. Detectives dealing with demons in their personal lives gets tiresome too. To me it's all a bit worn out.

Columbo is the antidote. It turns everything upside down. They show you whodunnit at the top and the detective is such a sweetie. It's just very satisfying viewing.

Which bust moment is your fave? It's not the absolute best one but the ending of "Columbo goes to college" which I was watching not so long ago always had a satisfying end those two cocky prick students expressions when they find out the Car they planted the murder weapon in was actually Columbo's Wifes that was the money shot!

"He doesn't live here.... I live here!" The look on the commissioner's face is priceless.

Negative reaction always gets a laugh from me when columbo winds the killer up so much and tricks him into picking up the incriminating camera!

She probably one of the most memorable female murderers. I do like Patrick Mcgoohan and Jack Cassidy as killers. George Hamilton incriminating himself recognising that blind guy was a good one.

The great Santini!

My fave early bust is mr Kingston with the paintings when columbo reveals he has gloves on after kingston learns columbo has his prints on the stolen pictures accuses columbo of trying to trap him "you just touched the paintings" and columbo slides out thr gloved hands its marvellous.

The Girls footsteps running away

Less keen on cassidy in publish or perish although the lock changing was delightful
