my favorite band of all time ever.
New Model Army.
Have seen them in limerick, dublin, and london and of course cork, and once in an acoustic pub gig with only about 20 people in the pub.

Not had the pleasure of seeing them, although the NMA I like is really the first two albums, Ghost of Cain is great also but it's Morrows bass that does it for me. Only in the last couple of years I got into them through seeing someone locally playing some their tunes accoustically (not very well) Known of them since I was 13, but they were a band I wasn't supposed to like (according to rules of punk.."only stupid bastards help EMI") That accoustic gig would have been amazing if it was anything like this...

Re: What have you been listening to?
was justin on his own ,....joolz was there signing stuff and selling merch....was a few years after he started doing stuff with dave blomberg around 2001 I think...was going out with the wife at the time.
Saw him in the half moon club in cork for the full gig ( around 250 people) in the small hall twice.
Best of them all in Ireland was the one in templebar., around 97.
aint seen them in ten years, missed their last gig here.
Ghost of Cain my favorite album overall but my favorite songs are on the thunder and consolation and love of hopeless causes albums
