Not sure why; it isn’t highly regarded, but somehow I like The Stand (1994) a lot.

Kingdom hospital is adapted by Stephen King.
The stand is likeable, so cheesy 90s.
My favourites would be Toby Hooper's Salem's lot and The storm of the century, although not an adaptation but original script.

I don't think I've seen many. I'll go and look up some King books. I have seen both the Tim Curry and the recent version of It.

I saw 'Thinner' on TV on a late night years back. A lad runs over some gypsies or something and gets cursed to wither away. That was pretty grim and fun.

Never read the book or even heard anything else about it anywhere ever.
