Any of us that read the Marvel comics as kids will find the films lacking something. Not bad efforts though if you want a couple of hour's escapism

the avengers didnt work for or with shield, nick fury wasnt black, the characterisation of captain america and thor is way off and loki always was shit villain that the films are obsessed with.

Nick Fury is black in the Ultimate versions of the comics, which came out before Avengers, so technically that's accurate
