Gamers unite!

Post by vizIIsto » Wed Nov 20, 2019 1:42 pm

First things first: yes, gaming is also a sport.

Okay, now that that's out of the way...
This is the place for all gamers to discuss games. Nintendo, Rockstar, EA, Sega, Bandai Namco, anything.
FIFA, GTA, Super Mario, CoD, Fortnite.

I'm a big Nintendo fan myself although my interest has gone down as I grew older. Now I'm playing a Professor Layton game because my DS works again after not playing for over 3 years. You ain't gonna find that quality on newer Nintendo products like the Switch lasting so long anymore today.

So Nintendo announced amongst other stuff a new race game for the Switch which comes with a Mario RC Car and a few gates so you can create your own race track in your own home and race on it on the Switch in AR and I've never been more hyped for anything ever.

ESports is actually classed as a "sport"
There's big money involved.
It's mental.

After waiting for 22 years, Crash Bandicoot 4 comes out tomorrow. Very much looking forward to it.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

Pre-ordered Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. I feel like I've already watched too many trailer analysis videos, but I'm gonna stop because I don't want to be spoilered too much now that this is the first time I will get a game pretty much from release date and not years and years later.

Bump. Gaming is still a sport.
Will be receiving Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit later today. Will be off for the rest of the day after that.

I overestimated the size of my house.
Not necessarily is it small but there's not really one big spacious room that racing works with. Perhaps the attic.

The attic works fine. Downstairs in the living room probably also works fine, but there are issues because the way the game works is there's a camera on the toy car which sends the footage to the Switch, but once it's more than 5 meters away it can be a poor connection and that's troublesome in a room with furniture. The attic is not big but it's spacious and round which gives me some room to work with.
