Wally Hammond, Dennis Compton, Len Hutton, Fred Trueman, Brian Statham, Jim Laker and Derek Underwood not considered for the All Time England XI?

Heard Boycs on TMS the other day say that a great like Hutton was in awe of Hammond as he was that good.

we kind of went with living memory so lots of the all time greats we couldnt speak from first hand experience of.

I guess the danger would have been picking players purely on their stats.
