Re: 2018 world cup
Imagine this side would be doing a bit better if they did not leave the top scorer in Serie A out of their squad.

Nigeria were the worst so far.
At least Saudi provided amusement.

Re: 2018 world cup
that ronaldo guy sure was great.
figured they'd win (portugal)
spain looked good and hung tough though.
great game. 3-3
too bad about Iran's lack of their normal shoes with trump's sanctions and all.
didn't even need shoes for their win after all, did they?
Serbia to give costa rica a run for their money tomorrow
and germany to outkick mexico in the end.. could be hairy at times.

Re: 2018 world cup
As someone who generally only watches football every four year, who are the players to watch out for now?
Surprised it's still billed as Messi v Ronaldo, there must be younger players coming through.
Is that young Columbian kid from the last world cup still as good? Rodriguez was it.

They are still the best two players, even though the amount of attention they receive is a bit silly I think. Probably Neymar gonna get some big hype as well.Randall wrote:As someone who generally only watches football every four year, who are the players to watch out for now?

Rodriguez is still their best player but hasn't been in really good form I think. Don't fancy the Colombians this year.
