Starts Thursday.
May as well have a thread to laugh at England's inevitable penalty defeat.
Ze Germans are favourites no doubt?

No, Brazil are.

After the 7-1 hiding that's a lot of baggage to carry.

Hard to split the top 4. Either Brazil, Germany, Spain or France can win it. Any team other than those would be a mild surprise.

Would be most disappointing should two attacking sides go out for the draw

As long as there are at least 4 corners in each game and each team gets 2 cards or more in the whole tournament, I couldn't care less who wins.

If you think Portugal will at all try and attack against Spain, you are going to be very disappointed.

A draw suits both with Morocco and Iran in the group.

Morocco are a sneakily good side. Only about a third of their squad is actually from Morocco, though.

Lump On Portugal to win that game now, the Spanish are in tatters.

Thanks, well spotted, got a few quids on them now.

Just read the news myself. What an incredibly selfish act to fire the coach just before the event starts. Yes Lopetegui and Real Madrid are both at fault, however it's still mind-boggling from the Spanish. Fair to say they are jeopardising their own chances now.

Could get 4/1 on Portugal just after the news broke with one bookie. Just looked now and it's down at 3/1.
