The 2014 Rugby League Four Nations Thread

Kangaroos 12 - 30 Kiwis
England 32 - 26 Samoa

The Kiwi's tear the Ozzies a new arsehole. Showing the reigning champions the result of this competition is not alreay etched on the trophy. While the Pom's hold out the Coconuts for a lucky undeserved win.

Turns out the "Coconuts" weren't as bad as you thought. England were a bit lucky to beat them, but were 32-22 ahead before a very late score from the Samoans when the game was already over.

NZ, on the other hand were VERY lucky. They were behind at half-time, they were 12-6 behind at one point in the second half, and even trailed going into the last 5 minutes before a late try gave them a 14-12 victory.

Doing the calculations now for tonights game, Kiwi's v Englanders. The bookies predicting an England win by -6 points. I'm predicting a massacre, Kiwi's by 10 points or more and at least two Englenders put in hospital with broken bones and broken dreams.

NZ 16-14 England. Why were the bookies predicting England to win? Wasn't the match in Dunedin?

Mind you, at least NZ won fairly. England were cheated out of a victory (or at least a draw) against the Aussies thanks to a wrongly disallowed try. No excuse for cheating with all the video technology available.

Yes that's true, NZ should go thru now and win this thing having already beaten every other team with ease.

League Union Double over England over night....how statisfying :D
The TAB account is looking rather healthy, and I've still got one live bet to go. Aussie to beat Samoa by 13+ if it wins I stand to make $3000

Can't wait for the teller to ask me how I want the money, I think 300 x $10 notes is the way to go.

Well deserved. Aussies have been awful during this tournament, and only the video ref helped them reach the final in the first place. NZ definitely the best team in the tournament.

Yeah, the Aussies looking weaker than they have for a long time. Althou the Kiwis looking stronger than they have for a long time, with more players coming from outside the Warriors, which I think is key.
