Must admit I have been enjoying the hurling and Gaelic football I have been watching on Sky this weekend.

They must be knackered after about ten minutes!

Go to a GAA club if there's one near you and you'll see how hard them games are first hand. Not for the feint hearted

It's just relentless isn't it? No wonder the games are only 70 minutes.

Love the randomness of Brian Carney (ex rugby league player) in the studio, I know the Irish weren't too happy at Sky picking the rights up but they seem to be making a good effort with it.

the football is a retarded game, a bastard cross of soccer, handball, ruby and other shit

The GAA themselves are like the bdo in their ignorance , attitude, and with their blinkered assholes who support them, except unlike the bdo, the gaa know how to really milk the system, they are clinical in making money hand over fist and paying out fuckall.

The hurling, despite played by inbred parochial closet homosexuals, and supported by insecure sheep of mongrel stock , and run by a shower of bastards is to be fair a fantastic game to watch, hard tough sport that would drain you and or cripple.

A quality hurling match that is level in the last few minutes is one of the best dramas you get.
Fuck your 9/11 for drama's, hurling is where its at ;)

all amateurs too don't forget, they are holding down full time jobs, although if you are one of the pets and stars of the GAA you will always be hoodwinked into a good job, the GAA look after their own, a shower of cliques and mostly cunts who revel in false power

I don't know the politics surrounding the GAA but there's a club close to me. Watched football and hurling there close up to the pitch, the tackles and clashes can be gut wrenching.

Sky Sports 3, Kilkenny/Limerick hurling semi final.

Watches bits of the Donegal match yesterday and I'm preferring the hurling to be honest, but both still good.

kilkenny one of the biggest teams in hurling, up there with cork, and arguably tipperary and offaly.

You want to be a brave fucker to be a goalie in hurling

mods on irish forums when it comes to the GAA make darty seem like a decent mod.

The levels of sheer ignorance stupidity and narrow mindedness is unparalleled.
