debatable as teams dont stay on top for ages, but traditionally dublin was always a football county.
That said there is only a few clubs that have achieved success in both hurling and football, the team to do the double, win the football and hurling in the same year.
Only been done 4 times , twice by cork and twice by tipperary, however was only done once since the year 1900 and that was cork in 1990.
The likes of Kerry won the first ever hurling title over a hundred years ago, but no one plays hurling really in Kerry this century, football is that bunch of mucksavages thing now.

did you ever watch the aussie rules and irish GAA match ups that use to happen years back ?
they made a mised game for a series of matches...was superb, the aussies battered the fuck out of the micks, was hilarious
