Re: Road Bowling
bill daly? the cop,aye they were the old guard, pa was a beautiful bowler, he has dropped down a grade now but would still beat many of the top guys, money has dropped with the recession but still loads of bobs going with the henchmen and gypos that follow the sport, think 100 k combined stake was the record bout 7 or 8 years agoJustin Credible wrote:used to go out every sunday for about 3 years with a few guys from the pub and a couple of gypos.

Re: Road Bowling
pa well past it now he must be 60 years old, though would still hammer me.
seen the gypos going 2 hundred old irish pounds per throw, savage money, so that 199k is well believable

Is this what you do to pass the time between sulky races and signing on?
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'
