Re: Footie
The best team won on the night
I’ll be honest, I stopped watching after a while.
Your first goal looked offside and then we lose our only recognised central defender and after it was 2-0 it was like we gave up. That to me and any other fan is unforgivable.
I did expect us to lose tonight mainly due to lack of games but not 5-0 Tonight was only our 4th loss in the league all season and we had the longest unbeaten run in the 4 divisions prior to tonight. Too many draws though.
What is important from Wednesdays perspective is how we bounce back. We are at Shrewsbury on the 2nd Jan. It’s simply a must win game for us.
I’ve got to say I thought I would be more upset at losing 5-0 but maybe Wadeys win tonight has masked the disappointment somewhat

Re: Footie
Fair play to your travelling fans stayed right up until the fifth one went in. Dunno what your thoughts are but personally think your keeper is rancid Stewarts 2nd and 3rd he really should do better. I think we used our width very well tonight Dajaku and Gooch torched your wing backs especially Hunt.
We have no game now till the 8th away to Wycombe. Really wish our game on Sunday hadn't got pulled as our momentum is unreal at the minute.

Had some bad moments supporting Newcastle, remember when we lost to Stevenage in the 3rd round of the fa cup about 10 years ago, this one feels a lot worse though

Was that the game when after the match and the Stevenage fans invaded the pitch in celebration, a Stevenage fan punched his own player?TheMalteseDart wrote:Had some bad moments supporting Newcastle, remember when we lost to Stevenage in the 3rd round of the fa cup about 10 years ago, this one feels a lot worse though
