Re: Footie
I've been to West Brom's ground a few times.
I used to knock about with a lad that supported them. (And no, it isn't Oche)
One time I did actually see them play Sunderland and having just looked at the result, West Brom won 4-0

Re: Footie
Yep I was there even Keith Andrews scored
I've been to West Brom 8 times and we've only won once 2007 under Roy Keane I've seen us win more at Stamford Bridge than the Hawthorns

If you care, I only went when United weren't playing.Safc wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 12:09 pmYep I was there even Keith Andrews scored

I couldn't have told you who scored without looking, though. I'd have guessed Odemwingie for West Brom but that's about it.
I noticed you had Bendtner and Frazier Campbell on the bench.

Re: Footie
TBH Both did well Bendtner was decent until the last 2 months of the season when he knew we weren't going to sign him permanently and Campbell once he broke his leg wasn't the sameJimmi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:18 pmIf you care, I only went when United weren't playing.Safc wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 12:09 pmYep I was there even Keith Andrews scored

Re: Footie
I always thought Bendtner was a good player. Not quite the calibre Arsenal were used to but a decent squad player. And I forgot he even went to Sunderland. Campbell not so much. I know he was regarded quite highly at United but then literally every "prospect" is.Safc wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:46 pmTBH Both did well Bendtner was decent until the last 2 months of the season when he knew we weren't going to sign him permanently and Campbell once he broke his leg wasn't the sameJimmi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:18 pmIf you care, I only went when United weren't playing.Safc wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 12:09 pmYep I was there even Keith Andrews scored

Coming back from a leg break isn't easy for any player, though. So I can't be too tough on him.

Re: Footie
Campbell in reality was a 10-15 a season in a top half Championship team 4-5 in a bottom half premier league team he had 2 bad injuries at us and never realy recoveredJimmi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 1:58 pmI always thought Bendtner was a good player. Can only think of Aaron Ramsey (recently) who ever really recovered from such a bad injury.
And I've just been staring at your GIF for about 5 minutes straight.

Re: Footie
Arsenal just announced 55 redundancies of staff within the club. Embarrassing stuff for a club that pays someone like Mesut Ozil £350,000 per week and has an owner worth $8.3 billion.

Kroenke is almost the ideal of the pathetic billionaire. Greedy as sin, thick as mince, not a financial braincell going, and only has his money through who he married. Whats not to hate?

Re: Footie
Need to go back and watch the first 10 seasons. There's bound to be jokes I never got as a kid. Plus seeing all the stuff, BBC, Sky and Channel 4 cut out/censor.
I'm just too much of a tight cunt to pay for Disney+
