I looked on the BBC site yesterday for results and it still had last year's.

Look on Wikipedia in future, just go to the "snooker season 2018/19" page and all the events are listed.

No idea why they think they will get away with it. Any decent sized Correct Score bets on Qualifiers surely raises an alarm?

Presumably they thought nobody pays attention at low level games.
Sort is an ex world champion so he will be fine.
Others will be under the bus.
