Re: snooker thread
I know. it's almost disturbing how dismal his reactions were, especially when you think about what it would have meant to Ding/China had he won. Ah well. Ding did ok for much of the game, but 0-6 was too much of a hole to get out of.Justin Credible wrote:selby is one dour, smug unlikable cunt

Stopclock comedy snooker on the rankings table, laughable. Perhaps he's pissed off that so many of the big name players aren't turning up for it.The Ginge Reaper wrote:The one leg knockabout event to become a ranking event

Loving the dialogue on the Shoot out becoming a ranking event. Let me stress - ALL players eligible to a snooker event equals ranking status

Re: snooker thread
Not a chance you could play 127 matches over 3 days, will involve pre-qualifing, so 128 players will have to trek to Gloucester or Barnsley or whetever to play one fucking frame to get into the event proper.
At least the amounts involved wont shake up the rankings, so its effect will be very minimal. If you add £32k onto Robin Hull's total he is still nowhere near getting into the Top 16, as an example.

O'Sullivan vs Selby going just how I expected it to go.
Selby up 4-2, and has won both of the really long tactical frames.

I enjoy the style.

Re: snooker thread
Selby was 7-2 up.
Now 7-5.
Setting up to be a lovely ending.
