Sunderland have sacked manager Paolo Di Canio after a miserable start to the season.
Defeat to West Brom on Saturday left the Wearsiders bottom of the Premier League with just one point from the opening five games.
A club statement read: "Sunderland AFC confirms that it has parted company with head coach Paolo Di Canio this evening"
"The club would like to place on record its thanks to Paolo and his staff and wishes them well for the future."
Looks like he got the boot.
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'

Exactly. He got shot of 14 players and brought 14 in. It is his squad and they've put both the dire and bollock in diabolical. It's probably difficult for you guys to appreciate just how badly the fans wanted him gone. Plenty didnt want him in the first place. My best mate is an Albanian and he has been crying out for this as he reckons a new manager is their only chance of avoiding the relegation that would be certain under Di Canio.

Hahaha. You know only full well I meant Albania-on-Wear!

Actually 1970s East Berlin is a better analogy. Dull, downtrodden bastards who can't speak discernable English and know that there is a modern city where they can live a better life just a few miles away ;)

I don't hate the football club or it's supporters. Plenty of my mates support them. I just cannot abide the fucking city and it's population. Horrible, horrible accent, grimy swarthy people. I grew up (and still live) six miles away and I avoid the place like the plague. My wife is from that London and she will not go there. Fucking Hartlepool is a better option if we go out.
