Seve Ballesteros

Post by Jock Mccallum » Fri May 06, 2011 12:53 pm

Looks like his days are numbered , just seen on Sky that his family have said he has had a serious downturn in his neurological state , can't be good.

Awful news.

Almost single handedly revived European golf in the early 80's. Loved stuffing it up the Septics in the Ryder Cup as well, had some wonderful battles against Kite and Azinger in the singles.

Sad day. loved his style of play. Great memories of him flying around in his golf buggy whilst leading the Ryder cup team.

The best golfer the world has ever seen. But sometimes when the condition is so bet it is a relief when they are out to rest, personally I found that out in January.

RIP Seve, you will be missed.
