I just realised that there is a whole fucking World Cup before the Ashes starts.
This is after we played 2 Back to Back Ashes in 2013 so that England wouldn't have to have an Ashes tour immediately before the World Cup.

Really don't get me started on that mate. Although England were battered, literally battered bruised and broken they were probably the second best team at the time. Would have walked through this WI side and not broken a sweat

It is a bit of a strange rule in the current climate where tests last 3 to 4 days.. don't suppose holder will be too upset as the series is done and dusted but if it had been 1-1 it would have meant a lot to WI..
