How come that black fella didn't play in the first test?
Joe Burns could surely replace one of them?

He had a side strain after the world cup I believe
If anderson is fit he must play so woakes or denly would have to make way

anyway I fear that AUS will be thrashed in the remaining tests. ENG were well on top today one feels that Aussies are starting to be scared.

Youd think they had never faced a quick bowler before

Even bairstow up top, buttler keeping, stokes at 4, curran in and anderson for denly and the side still has plenty of balance.
Arguably they dont need archer, anderson, broad and woakes in the side with stokes as well.

what's the weather gonna be like in good old England, any rain in sight?

Hope it rains non stop till mid september, that's probably the only way AUS can retain the Ashes.

You can pretty much bet on Old Trafford in September to be pissing it down.

So England probably need to win at Headingley and the Oval

It's very likely Roy will be available, sadly. They'll stick with him until the end of the series and then hopefully send him packing.

just a normal English summer.....

Move the rest of the series to downunder, weather is fine there. I'm sure the barmy army would enjoy the trip. :D

three and a half days of play should be enough for that black fella to destroy the Aussies.

They have found a downgrade on Bancroft. Quite an achievement.

This fella looked fucking awful against India, why has he been recalled
