It was inevitable that more british born Asian players would start to get in the England team. Amongst young white lads the appeal of playing cricket isn't there anymore. The asian lads still have passion for it.

That's because the local leagues tend to be run by out of touch old farts who don't accept change. /placeholder for BDO comparison/.

Disagree totally.

Lots of initiatives about to get more T20 tournaments played to keep the kids/teenagers interested.
We have 100+ kids at our club and and likely to be a lot more in 2017,estimate 5 to 10% of Asian background, it's how you sell the game to them that matters.
