For the opener, we need a boring cunt who keeps doing the same repetitive thing and stays around a lot.Randall wrote:I was a keeper batsman so I'll go in at 7HalloweenJack wrote:We should have a TDF 11Randall wrote:A true leader of men

Re: cricket thread
Thorns opening batsman partner should be DBG. Give them a chance to build some rapport. Mind you Thorn could run DBG out and he might twat Thorn round the head with his bat.sennafan24 wrote:HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 10:58 amFor the opener, we need a boring cunt who keeps doing the same repetitive thing and stays around a lot. Nah, I reckon DBG should bat 4 or 5.
Give the others a go before he comes in and smacks a double century in 80 balls.

I was a fast bowler when I was a younger, so I guess I'll be sharing the new ball with you.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 4:19 pmGood call, we need some aggression at number 5 Where do you fit into this team? Re: cricket thread
Played club cricket for 30 years, was county youth standard at u16.
Fast bowler in my youth but matured into a steady seamer who could move the ball all over the place.
Could bat too and had a couple of seasons batting 4 or 5 but mainly occupied, 8, 9, 10 or Jack.
Did three levels of the coaching badges too before ending all involvement about 5 years ago.
