Re: Boxing
The late 90s version of Lennox Lewis would have beaten any version of Fury.

I'm still a Fury fan, even though I prefer Usyk.

Re: Boxing
Seeing usyk go about fighting him would be interesting with all the physical disadvantages
He lacks real destructive power
Can't see him hurting fury

Fury is an imbecile but he knows how to entertain. Hope he smacks the shit out of Usyk.

The fully focussed Manny Steward trained version of Lewis beats any heavyweight ever, the only exception being the mid 60s prime Ali.sennafan24 wrote:The late 90s version of Lennox Lewis would have beaten any version of Fury.
Lewis was fucking awesome when he was on it. I had the privilege of being in attendance when he won the undisputed against Holyfield in Vegas. The reality was he did it earlier in 1999 at MSG but the judges made the worst decision ever in boxing.

Have you ever heard Fury speak about himself before? The Thorn wrote:How do you know how good he thinks he is?HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 2:49 pmDisagree.Randall wrote:Fury is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is either

Usyk is my second favourite current boxer after Fury. He doesn’t have to hurt him to beat him, although I think Fury is just too big for Usyk and far smarter than AJ.Randall wrote:Seeing usyk go about fighting him would be interesting with all the physical disadvantages

Usyk would beat many a heavyweight in history. Don’t forget many of the so called greats of yesteryear would be light heavyweights or cruiser weights today.

Re: Boxing
Usyk is the 200lbs GOAT.
Fury is also an elite level HW in terms of ability.
Both are ATGs in my opinion.

Re: Boxing
You can’t honestly tell me that someone like Jack Dempsey beats Tyson Fury, the so called traditionalists might, but how does a man who would be a cruiserweight today at 6ft 1 get to Fury??Randall wrote:'So called greats"

Clearly he would be in a different class today but it doesn't diminish what he achieved or his status

A prime Mike Tyson would beat the lot of them one after another in his dinner hour, while he was eating it.

I'd also pick 88-90 Tyson over the current crop.

Re: Boxing
Harry Greb and Henry Armstrong are greater than any of today's boxers. Any good historian will tell you that.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 5:21 amYou can’t honestly tell me that someone like Jack Dempsey beats Tyson Fury, the so called traditionalists might, but how does a man who would be a cruiserweight today at 6ft 1 get to Fury??Randall wrote:'So called greats"
That said, Fury would probably beat any heavyweight pre-Ali.
