I’ve been a fan for years, travelled to the states numerous times to watch fights in Vegas and New York. When you get people like Bob Arum and others saying it’s the best fight they have seen, that tells you a lot.
The hype machine never stops
What is Bob Arum hyping though? The fight is over, he isn’t after pay per view buys. He also isn’t trying to sell a 4th fight, as it’s almost certain the pair will never fight each other again.
The winner of the fight you plank.

It was a classic fight.

I genuinely think Usyk has decent chance of beating Fury.

Just not the best ever, until the next one.

It’s pretty hard to school someone when you haven’t come back with a counter argument 😂
Randall has still yet to name the fights he thinks are better 🙂

Fury is ponderous but makes use of all his physical advantages and clinches to avoid fighting on the Inside so usyk would have his work cut out.
A physical specimen like wilder really should have been able to out work him and fight at a pace fury wasn't comfortable with.
Usyk would certainly be a lot busier

At heavy?
Ali v Frazier
Marciano v Walcott
Dempsey v tunney
Holyfield v Bowe
Holyfield v cooper

At lower weights

Hagler v hearns
Hearns v leonard
Leonard v Duran
Chavez v taylor
Quiroga v akeem
Nunn v toney
Hagler v minter

For me fury v wilder was fought at a far lesser tempo than lots of other fights.
Not that it wasn't very good.

I can’t see it myself. Fury is too big and unlike AJ has a high boxing IQ he would use his size to his advantage. Fury and Usyk are my two favourite active boxers, but stylistically I think it would make for a poor fight.

I’ll give you the first three at the lower weights ( Hagler b Hearns is the best fight I’ve ever seen)

As for Hweight, Ali v Frazier 3 and one you’ve missed was Foreman v Lyle ( if you haven’t seen it, watch it on YouTube.
I’m surprised you put Holyfield v Bert Cooper on the list tbh

In your opinion. I had forgotten Benn v McClelland, that is probably the most brutal fight I have witnessed. Benn took some severe punishment in that fight yet somehow won. The aftermath was terrible.

Which is remembered more for Hagler and his entourage being bottled after the match.
