The whole fight was an embarrassment to heavyweight history.

And I’m called a contrarian ImageFury put on a masterclass. Hit and don’t get hit and threw a wonderful uppercut. It seems you are in a very small minority regarding your views on Fury.
Anyway you claimed you weren’t remotely interested in the fight.

It was a good performance mate, but let's not pretend that Whyte is anything special.

If Fury beats Usyk decisively it would be worthy of being called a masterclass.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

And yet no over heavyweight has been able to do that with Whyte ( who I am not claiming is anything special btw) Povetkin was having the crap beat out of him and produced a 1 punch knockout. He gave AJ problems with a damaged shoulder before losing. In 6 rounds against Fury, he barely hit him. Fury has great fundamentals, this is widely regarded by people within boxing. He is arguably the best heavyweight since Lennox Lewis.
Fury can adapt styles something not many fighters can do successfully.
He will be remembered as an all time great.

See I agree with a lot of this.

But you are still overrating Whyte's record. Povetkin was well past it when Whyte was knocked out by him. Povetkin was also a corpse in the rematch. AJ vs Whyte was merely two inexperienced professionals having a shootout. Neither looked particularly decent.

I’ve never claimed Whyte to be anything special, he is ( as I think you once said) a similar level to Parker/ Chisora/ Rivas/ Ortiz and I think he was fortunate to get the decisions against Parker and Chisora.
I think Joyce beats Whyte as would Usyk and probably Wilder and AJ

See my post I’ve just made.

Whyte was being hyped up by Matchroom and affiliates eg Hearn and Bellew
Whyte who I’m no big fan of has beaten the so called contenders despite their age and ability.
He looked very ring rusty but I doubt that would have made much difference, some of those telegraphed shots looked bad, especially as they missed by a long way. As soon as I saw Fury’s weight it was obvious he was going to fight the way he did and he won every round.
I’ve read that Whyte thought he was in the fight up until the end. Image Whilst he wasn’t getting beaten up bad, he never looked close to winning a round.

Fucking hell.

Round 1 was close. The rest were all clearly Fury's imo.

I would like to congratulate Randall on his new job as a boxing pundit. Currently Sky sports/BT sports and DAZN are in a bidding war for his services.

Randall said “I’m weighing up my options as I’m fucked off with chasing shoplifters stealing jars of coffee, my forthright opinions are what is needed on these channels or something”

Rands has a point. "Hit and don't get hit" sounds boring as fuck. Seen better brawls down the pub.

Maybe you could be his co commentator and you could share your wisdom as well.
