Re: Boxing
Fury is an ugly spoiling fighter who makes use of all his tools
Heavy handed but not a destructive puncher but at 277 pounds it's going to carry some weight.
Not great to watch but tough to compete with

Re: Boxing
Yeah next fight for Fury. Can’t see Usyk getting that near to Fury. Fury will use his ring craft. Fury probably only loses now if he goes on too long.. fights when he’s too old.Randall wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:53 amSurely usyk is the fightWolflanternbumbag wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:52 am Good win for Fury.

Joshua has activated the rematch clause apparently so unification is again delayed

Re: Boxing
Was a brilliant fight, that was the best version of Wilder you can possibly get, he showed guts to be fair, but quality shone through in the end, thought Fury was fucked when he went down twice though

I’ve been a fan for years, travelled to the states numerous times to watch fights in Vegas and New York. When you get people like Bob Arum and others saying it’s the best fight they have seen, that tells you a lot.

Re: Boxing
I can think of any number of fights even just in the heavyweight division that were more exciting at higher pace with cleaner punching

That’s utter bollocks. If anything, it’s people like yourself that think everything from yesteryear was better.
With all due respect, I’ll take Bob Arums word over yours.
My eyes are okay and I can’t think of a fight in recent memory that was anywhere near as good.
Ali v Frazier 3 is up there ( for heavyweights) Fury v Wilder 3 was better than Holyfield v Bowe 1 for me anyway.

Re: Boxing
What is Bob Arum hyping though? The fight is over, he isn’t after pay per view buys. He also isn’t trying to sell a 4th fight, as it’s almost certain the pair will never fight each other again.Randall wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 3:31 pmThe hype machine never stopsHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 3:27 pmYou’reRandall wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:44 amYour new to boxing then?HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 11:14 am That will win fight of the year. If you can't see a pattern now where everything right now is the greatest thing that ever happened I can.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 4:08 pmWhat is Bob Arum hyping though?
