It was absolutely fucking scandalous. You only have to see the reaction from fans/ boxers/ promoters. Something very very wrong.

Nope.

Taylor is moving up in weight.

The scorecards for the Campbell Hatton fight on the Usyk/Joshua undercard was worse imo.

That said, I also scored the fight for Catterall.

I made a typing error above. It should read "scorecard". The referee alone scored the Campbell Hatton fight.

The judging in the UK is seemingly getting worse.

I'm kinda surprised Usyk was given the decision against Joshua.

They were both shocking decisions. I had Catterall by 5 points
Rounds 1-6. Were 10-9 to Caterall
7 10-9 Taylor
8 10-8 Caterall
9 10-9 Taylor
10 10-8 Taylor
11 10-8 Caterall
12 10-9 Taylor

115- 110 Caterall

Both point deductions were ridiculous too.

As for your Usyk comment, I agree and was thinking about that this morning.

Taylor showed he couldn’t adapt and if he fights Crawford, God help him. Mind you, if they fought in Glasgow and he manages to go 12 rounds, he will be given the decision.

Although punch stats don’t always tell the whole story, I believe Catterall landed more in 11 of the 12 rounds. Taylor was saying he did the more hurtful punches. Funny as Catterall landed more power shots and Catterall put Taylor on his arse.

I have no objections to your card. Mine was identical, other than I generously gave one of the early rounds to Taylor.

I would have picked Crawford to beat Taylor before last night. Crawford is easily top 5 in the world. He, Usyk and Inoue would be my top 3 in terms of skills.

One of the things Catterall said in the build up was that Taylor could be hot headed and I think this showed last night. He was struggling to adapt and he was quite dirty at times, although his point deduction was farcical. Outside of the heavyweights, the fight I want to see is Crawford v Spence. I would favour Crawford.

Taylor was also dead at the weight.

I agree Crawford would wreck Spence.

I’m not sure he would wreck Spence, but I think he would win, probably on points.

The whole idea of boxing is corrupted by the point system. Which makes room for people interpreting things differently. Just let it go on until one knocks the other out.

I'm not sure if Spence will be the same after his car crash. Even before that, I would have favoured Crawford to win.
