Behave.
Won all his slams in the Federer/Nadal era, an argument for him as the goat is easy to make.

Nadal/Federer is taylor/barney in the mental stakes.

Federer out until January. Reckon that's him done, at best he will be ranked 10th when he comes back.

See Djokovic lost last night. His decline has definitely started. Very lucky to have the run to the final.

It is also now impossible not to talk about Wawrinka being part of a "Big X". How many "X" is, is a matter for debate.

It is strange, he has won as many Grand Slams as Murray but I don't consider him nearly as good when one considers all the other titles Murray has won.

Murray has won 10 Masters events compared to 1 for Warwinka, though, which is maybe why we think that.

Cant see Stan making the full set, grass is by far his poorest surface. In contrast, clay is Murray's worst surface and he won in Rome, was runner up in Madrid and then won a set in the FO final this year!

The over the top backhand is a thing of beauty, and lethal.

Piece of piss to correspond the characters and achievements of the top tennis players to the guys of the PDC.

Roger Federer = Phil Taylor
Novak Djokovic = MVG
Andy Murray = Gary Anderson
Rafa Nadal = Adrian Lewis
Stan Wawrinka = James Wade
Kei Nishikori = Peter Wright
Marin Cilic = Rob Thornton
Tomas Berdych = Terry Jenkins

Will be very interesting to see if Murray can take that #1 ranking from Djoker next week and how he responds.

Today is a big day for Murray. I predicted Djokovic's downfall somewhere in this thread, the signs were there in his serve. Pressure might get to Murray though. One win from being world number 1 is a big pressure.

Andy Murray is the new world number 1, his opponent today has pulled out. But apparently he's shit, according to some :)

Good Moses, not the way he would want it surely. The way the system works in tennis, there is no way a rubbish player could get to number 1. He is no Federer or Djokovic but certainly is a good player.

TBF, Murray is just as unlikable as MVG the miserable angry cunt.

But what a player you have to say........obviously underrated cause the British love a good moan over their teams and athletes. But the guy has been making major SF's and F's for nearly a decade now, that #1 spot was inevitable with the decline of Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Murray beats Djokovic in the ATP world tour finals to end the year as number one. I seriously doubt that Federer and Nadal returning to action next year will affect Murray and Djokovic's form is slipping. Could be there for a while.

Aussie Open started on Eurosport earlier.

Murray through, the highest other seed in his half is Wawrinka and he is about to go out of the tournament if Klizan can hold his serve twice.

Murray is long overdue an aussie title.
Six finals he's lost?
