I meant since the first round.......Kevin Anderson is hardly a top quality player. The Ginge Reaper wrote:Yes he has, he beat a GS finalist from last year in his very first game.Kimmy wrote:Solid player but not played any seeds yet.Randall wrote:A British man who isn't Murray into the last eight in Australia.

As up and down as Dimitrov is, it's a huge win for Edmund. The Ginge Reaper wrote:Any luck?Kimmy wrote:Solid player but not played any seeds yet.Randall wrote:A British man who isn't Murray into the last eight in Australia.

Nadal is another matter.

Re: tennis thread
Had Nadal body held up I think there would be little doubt of the outcome.
Given cilics surrender in the Wimbledon final it doesn't bode well.
Who is left in Federers half?

Bottom half. World ranking at the start of the event in bracketsRandall wrote:Had Nadal body held up I think there would be little doubt of the outcome.

Who is left in Federers half?
Sangren (97) vs Chung (58)
Federer (2) vs Berdych (20)
SF of top half is 6 vs 49
Jobber-tastic

Easiest major ever for Federer.
He must think it's 2003 again.

Re: tennis thread
A genuine Nadal injury? First time for everything I suppose. Federer winning this isn't cut and dried though Berdych will run him close I think and Cilic definitely has a chance on this surface.

Re: tennis thread
Berdych is hopeless.
Cillic won on the US but aussie courts are quicker so massively favours Federer.

Re: tennis thread
The US open when Cilic won it was lightning fast. The only year it's been quick since about 09. Think cilic has a chance. Fed is favourite no doubt but I wouldn't be rushing to the bookies at the odds available.Randall wrote:Berdych is hopeless.
