has begun this week, murray through to round two, no nadal, djokovic seems to have gone off the boil.

spurred on by the olympics can this be murrays break through event?

this is the best chance he has had to date, that said on a fast court id still fancy federer to beat him.

Murray has been unfortunate that he is playing at the same time as 2 of the greatest of all time (Federer & Nadal) & also at the same time when Djokovic has possibly the greatest season ever by a male tennis player

every era has its great players, every era has players who just weren't quite good enough.

sampras, agassi. courier
becker, edberg, willander
borg,mcenroe, connors

hard to say murray would have had guaranteed wins in those era's. especially when his game is built on power.

andy roddick will retire at the end of the us open. another who would have won many more grand slams if not for federer.

really should have won the 09 wimbledon final, still remember the smash he dumped in the net at a set up and set point/break point.
