I don't know what it is about womens team sports but I just dont give a shit
Doesn't bother me watching womens track and field, swimming etc but team games i dont get it.
Struggle to watch mens golf, the thought of watching women play.....

Because it’s just much lower quality, I’m all for women’s football getting better which it has been but the equal pay arguments are just absurd which doesn’t help grow the game it does the opposite

I agree though women’s track and field is just as watchable as a lot of the same men’s events for me, I don’t think in athletics they’ve ever tried to say they are physically better than the men though but are still elite athletes in their own right and that’s why it’s watchable

Women's football was the top sports news story on BBC Radio 2 this morning, ahead of the two PL games that were played the same evening.

In no way should women get paid the same as men in football.
The blokes are fucking overpaid as it is in most leagues around the world anyway.

There isn’t enough money from TV companies, sponsorship, etc, because they’re simply not as good as the men.

But if people throw enough shit, then some of it will stick.

Women dont play 60 minute football games or use a soft ball for cricket

Simply no excuse to play 3 sets in tennis while claiming "equal pay"

Totally agree... some of the matches may last a day and a half if they were 5 sets, but equal pay is bollocks
