Who Will Bounce Back?
West Ham, Birmingham and Blackpool relegated so who would you back to win promotion next season?

Re: Who Will Bounce Back?
There should be an option for none as i think they are all financially fucked.
But for enjoyment reasons i'd like to see Blackpool make a return, really enjoyed most of the games they played in, plenty of goals.
Depending where big Eck finishes up i'd want to see him back in the top league with all the other Scots.

Well the Birmingham board have said Eck will still be their manager BUT they expect him to lead them up to the PL next season so shit or bust for him.

Good point Frog so none has been added.
I think Blackpool will be in a far better position financially as they never spent big in comparison to Birmingham and West Ham.

They dont have any financial problems like the other two, it just depends whether the chairman has the belief they can bounce back and provide Holloway with funds.

If they can keep hold of their squad I'd think they don't really need to buy

Blackpool are going to be raped of their players, according to some reports.
West ham will be, but I see brum as best placed to hold onto the few quality players they have.
From a finance point of view, Blackpool are best off, having freely admitted they budgeted to be relegated by Xmas.

none.....
but west ham have the best chance, everytine they have gone down in the past they always make a great effort the following year, always good support and alway have players from their fantastic youth team ready to step in.

Any of these 3 are better placed than the teams who were relegated last year.
Burnley came closest of them without threatening.

Re: Who Will Bounce Back?
All three teams will lose their top players, but I think West Ham and Birmingham will have a strong enough base of quality players left in their squads to help them push for promotion next season. Blackpool I feel, don't have the quality in depth of the other two to see them bounce back straight away. But saying that they confounded everyone with some of their performances this season and were breath of fresh air in the premiership.Knots & crosses wrote:Blackpool are going to be raped of their players, according to some reports.

One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'
