look at the state of them...

bad enough football tops are chav and tacky anyway but actually buying one is sad...let alone camp up outside...for a sunderland one.

Its not like camping outside the nou camp watching the bronzed beautiful spanish women passing by, but hags from sunderland in the pissing rain.

To be fair, I queued up one night when Newcastle released a top at midnight (I was only 18 or so, at Uni, working evenings so had the time). Got there about 10pm after work and was a big crowd. Was a couple of days after we beat Forest 5-0 to finish 2nd and qualify for the Champions League and both Sunderland and Middlesbrough got relegated, so was party night.

Great atmosphere, but I can't imagine camping out all week in a car park for a shirt. Six hours queuing after work knowing I could have a lie in was enough.
