Why would you want to race for a team who clearly don't want you?

Money I'd guess
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

It's fair enough though. An agreement is an agreement. These teams are chasing drivers based on financial backing rather than ability and now the chickens are coming home to roost

why is this in the sport section. ?

While I use to enjoy f1 in the past it is hardly a sport when its nowhere near a level playing field when the best quality drivers cannot compete if they drive for one of the shittier teams.

Thats not sport

The best drivers tend to find their way to the best team. Thats when the men get separated from the boys. Everyone was saying for years that Fisichella would be world champ when he got a competitive drive. He had the best car in 05 and 06 but Alonso dicked all over him.

It is still possible to make an impact even without the best car, just like Ricciardo did last year. He started at the HRT team in 2010 or 2011 if i recall and now he is at Red Bull and has chased a four time world champion out of the team with his tail between his legs. Even Senna had to make an impression at Toleman before going onto greatness.

Even in F1 cream always rises to the top

True, but the thing is that the sport is as much about the competition between teams as it is between drivers. That's what leads to innovation and technology that can be transferred to road cars. Even in darts we are seeing more and more improvement in the darts themselves and new 'tech' such as 'Whiz lock' to try and give players the best possible game.

It's not a modern thing either. Mclaren won 15 out of 16 races in 1988 and Williams dicked on everyone in the early nineties.

F1 is an acquired taste i will admit. I started watching it with my Dad when Hill was competing for the title and I got hooked.

Ive had to nerd up on those eras. Prost and Senna was a proper rivalry, not like this bullshit one they are hyping up between Hamilton and Rosberg. Piquet was a proper twat and his sons a spineless race fixing little turd.

Hamilton is a bit of a precious prick but I like him because hes got a winners mentality. I dont like Button, he is such a moaner and got lucky one year with a great car. He gets massively overrated. At least Hamilton usually does something interesting whether its a ballsy overtake or crashing.

A true golden age

Although F1 today is much better talent than 15 years ago. The Schumi era was depleted for talent.

F1 is a colossal pile of fucking old wank. A procession around the circuit where the fast cars are ahead of the slow cars and occasional placings decided by who changed their tyres the best.

Would rather slice off my own cock with some blunt shears than watch one minute of this fucking appalling "sport".

Just saying, like.

use to love F1

but all the health and safety measure has fucked it up, these days its all about the best car not the actual driver,
No more fuel stops, less bravery from drivers it has become a joke

Then this is not alone, football has become shit as has many sports
