Re: Footie
Fifa threatened to ban any players taking part in this from international football back in January apparently

Being a notorious Brenda basher puts you in the same circle of hell as these club owners, if not deeper.

Re: Footie
Yikes well this is going to be a gigantic news story for years.World governing body Fifa had previously said it would not recognise such a competition, and any players involved could be denied the chance to play at a World Cup.
Uefa, Europe's governing body, reiterated that warning on Sunday when it said players involved would be banned from all other competitions at domestic, European or world level and could be prevented from representing their national teams.
Manchester United co-chairman Joel Glazer will be a vice-chairman of the Super League.
He said: "By bringing together the world's greatest clubs and players to play each other throughout the season, the Super League will open a new chapter for European football

Re: Footie
Presumably players that want to continue their international careers will hand in transfer requests?

It’s going to be Messi for a while! Bumpy road ahead. International football has suffered for years now, this will cause it more pain..

The Glazers and the rest of the owners of these clubs can go fuck themselves.
