Question for Ginge

or any other cunt to answer.

Made a withdrawal of 700 euro via atm thursday morning, just as my transaction was completed a message appeared on the screen saying the terminal was out of order. i had got my cash and card back so thought no more, on checking my online balance in the evening, the 700 had been credited back to my account.

if i withdraw the cash now will i be liable to pay it back? will their error be spotted? thank you and have a good fucking evening.

It may be taken off you when someone manually balances the machine in the next day or so, i wouldnt assume you have got away with it yet

Its similar to what happens to when you draw money out but dont take the cash. After about 30 secs it will suck it back in but it will show as coming out of your balance for a day or so until it gets manually corrected.

Which is why you should leave it for a bit but yes, they have the right to take the 700 off you if they spot it and if that takes you overdrawn, so be it.

They can only hold back the amount of the possible mistake, I would keep that money in the account.

Or you could open a new account with a new bank and draw the money first from the existing bank

then they might go down legal route to get it back......easy option would to be honest.........

Agree honest is the best way but it's unlikely they'll chase £700 with any resolve
