Been out since 9.30, with a stop at my mums.
The two of them are knackered, and so am I.

Got a new dog today to help me round up the goats. My old dog passed on aged 19, think that was old but no nothing about dogs really.

Poor old fella had been partially blind and deaf for years and in the end would only eat buttered pancakes.A great herder in his day though.

my fella is nearly 12 but been taking him out for short walks, his hips are not the best, problem for collies, reckon he aint got long to go, but can still jump up on the couch, chase cats, eat, shit and sleep properly, and bosses the shepherd about so he is ok

Vet reckoned when i got him as a pup he would be lucky to see 4 years old, has outlived all the other pups in the same litter and even his "brother" that we also kept.

Ruby loves her new park as it appears to be dog city central. Being sociable she's in doggie heaven over there and only a minute away from the front door

I would never take my dogs to a dog walking park

1. they are more liable to pick up an illness left by some unvaccinated dog
2. its full of posers and dickheads
3. my dogs would attack any other dog or person that would approach me

Ruby's jabs are up to date and she's treated with advocate monthly which is supposed to prevent all known nastys in the doggie world. She's a social dog and loves being with dogs

dont matter if she had her jabs, it does not cover all illnesses or types of bugs she can pick up from others
