Car parking amended at no cost to cover new duration of holiday
Airport lounge refunded as no capacity on new date, however have booked the other one at Birmingham Airport instead, saving a few quid there.
Extra legroom I booked was on a credit card so a Section 75 claim has just gone in.
A very productive morning.
Pay for as much as possible on a credit card, the protection's well worth it
The CAA/ATOL have said that if you booked the holiday on the credit card, get the refund from them -

Problem is I paid for it in installments using TWO cards.
Have contacted both and they are saying I have to put an ATOL claim in.
Talk about going round in fucking circles.
You did it the hard way mate, one payment or one card for instalments is a no brainer.
On a different note I'm doing more hours at the moment on the wind up than I was when the firm was trading!

Think its sorted now with both credit cards, but only because ATOL/CAA published this last night:
https://monarch.caa.co.uk/media/1041/mo ... letter.pdf
Shall wait back for the money now, hopefully.
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

Some lovely fragrant aromas drifting through chateau Mabbsy earlier, Mrs Mabbsy was less than impressed

Just had a game of darts. Scored brilliantly, 3 180s and still lost 6-3. Missed loads of doubles. Good Moses Chizzy has ruined my game.

Had some poor customer service so set about it today.
Agreed a £260 refund on my car service as the dealer still hasn't dealt with a recall issue after two months. They're also collecting the car to sort it tomorrow and do a comprehensive valet.
Vodafone fucked me around a couple of weeks back when all I wanted was to upgrade my broadband speed. Agreed a £93 credit and the upgrade will be cheaper per month than my current package.
To cap it off I booked a break for next year back in June so upon seeing a deal for better accommodation costing £60 less for the same dates got them to switch my booking to that.
Not a bad day so far

Takes the absolute piss.
