bar etiquette

Post by Randall » Fri May 13, 2011 6:31 pm

am i the only one who waits his turn at the bar nowadays? acknowledges those who were there first? people just barge in and jump the queue, gets right on my tits.

bar staff are useless, seem to have no idea who has been waiting and who hasnt, sometimes i think i have engaged some kind of cloaking device!

Dont know which is worse.....barmaids who are thick as fuck, god fordid you ask them for a pint of stout or a large round of drinks, or barmen who will tend to avoid those waiting and concentrate on the women who just reach the bar.

Customers can be just as bad, I have a habit of deliberatley making sure the heel of my footwear gets the que jumpers in the ankle, and if they dont like it they know what they can do about it.

When i smoked , cunts would just sit down on your seat when you go for a smoke, when you get back they aint got the manners to get up.
They look at you like you are from fucking planet saturn....they forget they are sitting on your jacket, your pint in is front of them and they still seem perplexed when you get to to move. Man or Woman

I have no problem offering my seat but hate cunts who just take it

I always tell the bar staff that a bloke's in front of me. If it's really busy I then get the guy to order up my beers at the same time and pay him. Win win
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

i hate que jumpers, really pisses me off.
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'

People who don't wait there turn are just ignorant when I worked behind a bar it made me laugh blokes who moaned I was before him when I was serving, my answer was no you wern't pal and seen as you have had about six pints already being served in one minute is not going to be a problem you can't be thirsty yet.
I did it in order of who came to the bar and ignored the shouters who were trying to get to the front of the que.

Noticed with a lot of the more experienced bar people that they would have a fair idea who was next in line.

Some cunt jumped the queue ahead of me in The Square Peg near to Birmingham Moor Street Station a few months ago. Staff already started serving him before I had the chance to say anything.

Then some cunt FaceTiming his mate/BF in bed tried to do the same. Wasn’t happening again, the ignorant twat. You weren’t before me and get off your phone, instead of just pointing at the Leffe Pump like a wanker.
Fuck off Stuart Pyke and John Rawling!

No manners these days. When I'm stood in a queue, it seems the whole UK want to try and push in front of me. One time I was waiting in the queue, SIX people pushed in front of me, and then when I tried to push in front of them to regain my spot, the bartender accused me of queue jumping and I couldn't be bothered to argue about it so I just left. Outrageous
