Back on topic now's the time to start looking at real value in the supermarkets. Boneless loin of pork at £2.97 kg and beef at £4 kg in Asda at the moment, decent quality as well.

The Christmas offers will likely be announced this week

the Aldi Baileys (currently £3.75 for a 70cl (?) bottle) is nicer than Baileys.
