Loads of ex-easter stock turning up in your local (not chain) 99p style shops. Like a toddle round them as their are some great bargains to be had and the staff tend to be top folk. Needless to say I ended up spending near £40 in my favourite one, and £20 in the others. Well stocked up on the treats for the next 6 months

Oh yes. Speaking of which, there were two full cardboard boxes of 5-pack creme eggs in ff. 99p, best before next month. They should drop to around 49p soon. I don't like them though. After all that.

The filling has become quite gritty these days. used to be smooth as silk, in addition to the "cadburys chocolate is a bit crap now" factor.
Forrero rocher have a bar out now too. Can be quite expensive though. Lowest I've seen is 2 for £3 and it's nice, but not worth it

The cream makes me feel funny and yeah I imagine it's deteriorated too. When ferrero rocher started selling packs of 3 (three!) for 99p I'm afraid it became dead to me.

Not my photo but there's a giveaway going on for these. This is ff, works out at 185g for £1. Guess it's basically Caramac?

bought a large seedless watermelon at aldi's on sale at $5
after I loaded the groceries in the car, I saw they only charged me $2.50 on my receipt. (2.08 english pounds)
went back in and bought three more.
so big and so sweet.

The worst thing I ever bought from Morrisons was a dessert pizza from their fresh counter. Disgusting.
