Anyone play on Poker stars? I'm pretty average i feel but i do enjoy playing the big tournaments on there and think its the best system. I managed to win a 2 dollar hyper turbo once with about 850 people in it and won about 300 dollars, but hyper turbos are basically all about winning all in flips towards the end of the game

Would love to learn more strategy and really delve deep into it and get good but it all feels like a lot of effort

I quit playing on Pokerstars about the same time Full Tilt Poker went bust and it took me 2 years to get my money I had on that site back.

My youngest brother has played on Pokerstars for the last 12-13 years but it is not his main site nor has been for the last 5 years although he has played for a living for 12 odd years and I think only now plays sng's or cash tables now on there. (Something to do with leaderboards and rewards)

Personally I agree, Little skill involved late on in Hyper tournaments, If im going to play any speed type of tournament I will always opt for a bounty tournament as on average, 3-4 bounties won covers your entry fee and then your freerolling, Half the time you need a little luck with getting decent hands early on to achieve it early enough to take advantage of but still you can get deep into the money without taking many bounties.
