KFC Double Down ...
yeah nah...managed to get me one of those Double downs today. They only came out in NZ yesterday, drive thrus etc were out the door, round the corner etc etc, some people qued for 1.5 hrs !...idiots.
Anyway, I think their not too bad an idea, a burger with no bread, Id say it is Kentucky Fried Chicken going back to their roots of being a fast fried chicken outlet, they are trying to avoid the word 'BURGER' as every other fast food outlet has BURGERS, KFC now have Double Downs.
Personally it's two dry slabs of old Chook with a some crap chees and shit bacon sandwiched between presented in a bit of cardboard ...oh wow wee.......... should be called 'KFC Chook Pig Slop sandwich'
Yeah nah, edit, I don't know......I'll give em points for trying, certainly made them a fortune in the first few days !

Re: KFC Double Down ...
yeah nah, KFC sold 32 thousand of these things on the first day, they say thats how many burgers they sell in 2 weeks !
The health police are up in arms, all over the radio and TV complaining. Funny thing is that they knew this Double Down was coming, it's been out in USA for a while apparently. KFC did no advertising of this new product, they didn't have to, the Health nutts made such a big thing of it the public just had to try it out. As I say 32'000 sold on the first day, it has been a fantastic money earner for KFC. Althou I doubt it will continue in such volumes.
