What would you say is the difference between throwing a steel tip dart and a soft tip dart (assuming they have the same weight)?
I have an option to start practicing darts but only soft tips now. Will I use a different technique when throwing soft tip darts?

You can buy conversion points so that you can use every soft tip dart as steel darts too. I'd definitely advise you to play steel but if soft is the only option, go for it.
