It's a Grand Prix event, with the top 16 in the OOM qualifying with another 16 from local league champions for the finals night in November, with big money up for grabs.
I think it's the fifth event, my semi final at first attempt has me sitting 25th, so another decent performance should put me in the mix.
Players there last time included Richie Howson, fourth rounder at the UK Open, who beat me in the semi; Darren Peetoom, Essex captain, who I drew with in the group stages, and a host of other county and local league players.
Cracking format, great venue with 8 boards and excellent level of competition.
Pauly is going tonight and Deta will be at the one on the 29th.
