Anyhow as for the main poster regards the stems on darts I reckon its far better buying

a set of the smaller length deflectagrip stems and also the medium length stems

from a shop and they only are very cheap and in fact cheapest on the market

I play with them and ive played darts for many yrs ..vast majority of darters

play with them ..you can if you want as I now do purchase a flight puncher

and some rings to keep your stem and flight tightly on and when the flight is punched

and then the standard springs for on the nylon stems which lock your flight tightly into position

this is a good thing as yrs ago I recall we never had such and the odd flight would come flying out

onto the floor in a tight grouping often and nowadays they stay locked into position
through the use of a flight punch and the springs ..

So basically all you need is the nylon deflectagrip stems and flight punch and the springs

its what most pros also use and are no problem ans so easy to use .

Here is the gear but you can purchase from any other online seller

http://www.dartscorner.co.uk/index.php?cPath=340_816 < The springs

http://www.dartscorner.co.uk/advanced_s ... &x=67&y=10 Flight punch
one i use is the Harrows at £6.00 and no probs and I use thicker 100micron pear shaped flights
most people tend to use the standard shape flights and that's trial and error in what suits you
why I said purchase from a shop which sells darts gear a reputable darts store of sorts
as can then purchase just 2 sets of each and not spend as much to try out
the different flights and stems but again your choice ..But you cant go wrong with this set up.

Plus the stems which are nylon plastic last very well as are tough
10x sets shall last yrs.. flights is your own choice and u get the different thickness of them
I tend to play with the stronger 100 micron flights and many people prefer the 75 micron
again your choice ..

many choices of flights >http://www.dartscorner.co.uk/index.php?cPath=6

And the stems as said are most popular on the market http://www.dartscorner.co.uk/index.php?cPath=434_895

Some nutter from TSOD who made up a shite poem about himself and reposted it every second post. Was told he would be permanently banned if he posted it again.

Guess what he did? :D

There's a darter fae Fife whom plays the game
and some player he is , Stevie's the name
No man sais he , shall stand in his way
there is no other when on his day

180's are easy, as dbles are so
When he stands at the oche, to put on a show
as his dart hits the bullseye , the other players pout
count 1, 2 and 3 game shot, over and out

Now come try and beat him , if you dare
but when Stevie's on fire, you better beware
Whose No1, on Fife's golden shore's
There's only one outcome, as Stevie's dart soars
Big changes on the way ! We've heard it before but it's different this time !!!! , I believe Bdo gonna grow x

Someone changed it over the road:

There's a homo fae Fife whom plays the game
and oh what a bummer , Stevie's the name
No man sais he , shall stand in his way
He'll make them bend over, because he is a gay

Drag Queens are easy, as ladyboys are so
When he stands at the bedpost, to put on a show
as his nob hits the brown eye, the other gays shout
count 1, 2 and 3 what a shot of his salty grout

Now come try and beat him off, if you dare
but when Stevie gets randy, you better beware
Whose No1, with Fife's golden showers,
Stevie talks so much piss, it'll go on for hours
